This pass is on an unused little track, which to our surprise was all rideable. If heading from Chilcayocc/Putongo over to Soras and Chicha, this shortcut avoids the descent to Querobamba, and saves over 20km of cycling. The pass isn’t very defined – it’s all gentle, rolling puna in this area.
