Sairecabur has not one, but two high roads up it, meaning it’s possible to cycle an incredible 3 day loop from San Pedro de Atacama which traverses the mountain’s large crater, reaching an altitude of around 5,500m. It’s also possible to detour up to a small refugio at 5,670m on a very rough track.
