This is the highest pass on the route from Uyuni/Tupiza to San Pedro de Atacama, via San Pablo and Quetena. Coming from San Pablo, this is a short climb, but a very tough one. The surface isn’t great and there are some really steep sections. On the descent the road passes beautiful Laguna Morijon.
